| LATEST NEWS.... NEW GIRLS..... We are thrilled to announce that we have a new team member, Maylene Loo, from the SA Research & Development Institute (SARDI). We also welcome Wendy Rorrison and Anne Klau, supplier of Crocs shoes, to the Organising Committee, as well as Event Management students, Cat Davies, Madie Dunston, Cassie Mawson, Courtney McFarlane and Antoinette Tolcher. These girls are full of energy, effervescent and exciting to be with and are recharging "the ol' girls" batteries. We look forward to having lots of fun together. 2008 FUNDRAISING This year we raised $153.888.88, which was announced on the 8/8/08, also the date the Beijing Olympics began. MACARONI PENGUINS This year our penguin theme comes from the movie "Surf's Up", so we have become macaroni penguins and hope to find a bit of surf on the Bash, so that we can hone our skills! We have a great fun stop in store for the Bashers in 2008, whose talents and team skills will be tested and duly rewarded. CHRISTMAS IN WINTER Friday 11th July, 2008, Stamford Grand Adelaide Major Sponsors: McGrath Real Estate Central Audio Visual Ding Stamford Grand Adelaide What a sensational night this was, with a great crowd, fabulous floor show provided by corporate entertainers, Ding, and music, to encourage us to dance the night away, provided by Harvest. Paul McGrath, auctioneer extraordinaire, contributed greatly to the success of the auction, with hot bidding taking place for the trip for 2 to France.
