The Precocious Penguins Sue and Roz with Sponsor Lance Vater, at Penfolds cellars for the release of the 2007 Grange Hermitage.

Yet another outstanding success for Car 222 was the celebration of the Year of the Dragon at the House of Chow. Host David Chow flew from Shanghai for the occasion bringing fascinating Chinese New Year culture with him. Guests were entertained by traditional Lion Dancers whose agility and colourful display was voted best ever outside Hong Kong’s Peninsula! Wow! Feasting on a sumptuous 10 course dinner and superior South Australian wines, guests bid generously for the eclectic auction items with in excess of $31,000.00 being raised for Variety, the Children's Charity. Book early for 2013!

World Tennis Challenge A fabulous evening enjoyed by all who attended...a gourmet BBQ dinner by the River Torrens followed by fantastic tennis!

The Precocious Penguins together with family and friends spent a lovely Sunday morning at the Variety Santa Fun Run. An event organised across Australia to raise funds for children.

Car 222, the Precocious Penguins had cause to celebrate after a year of frantic fundraising and was again awarded the coveted Gold Door Panel with an outstanding total of $190,000.

Team Captain Sue Pearce from Adelaide Expo Hire together with Roz Chow from House of Chow and May Loo from SARDI are proud to announce their total fundraising in a 6 year history of Bashing is in excess of $894,000 and were proudly awarded the 2011 Dick Smith Trophy as Overall Highest Fundraisers in Australia!

We would like to thank most sincerely our generous sponsors without whom this would not be possible, and only wish you could all see the faces of the special needs children and their parents when the appeal presentations are made. We know they would thank you themselves …… if only they could!
